Erik’s Fine Clothing & Art is the convergence of style, fit, fine art, creativity, fashion, music, lifestyle, food, drink and so much more.
We believe that clothing and style are the product of the pieces you wear, in harmony with your unique lifestyle and interests. Today’s online shopping experience can bring the entire world of clothing to your fingertips, but it cannot replicate the experience and knowledge of The Haberdasher working with you and helping you find that perfect fit. Virtually trying on clothing will never be the same as actually trying them on with an experienced haberdasher by your side, who can help you figure out how to achieve the perfect fit for your tastes and body. And good luck trying to find someone to alter or tailor that online-purchased clothing; our haberdashery is full service and we include needed alterations and finishing with every item purchased.
Our customers often find us when they are in need of an outfit for a special occasion, be it a beautifully-fitting suit for a wedding or a sport coat for a work or social event, but when they get in the shop they find that being here and shopping for clothing is a whole experience they never knew existed, especially in northern Ohio. Customers often don’t know about all of our high quality clothing lines and that we can help them put together core wardrobe pieces, building on that with custom-fit casual and dress shirts, casual wear, jeans, shoes, accessories, fragrance & shaving goods, outerwear, seasonal wear and much more.
We are ONLY in the business of in-person shopping and a one-of-a-kind experience for every customer. We hand select unique pieces every season, typically one item in each size, so having an online store doesn’t really make sense for us. You need to come in to see, feel and try on these specially curated pieces. These are things you can only do when you shop in person with The Haberdasher.

What We Offer
At Erik’s we’re about so much more than clothing. We’re about fit, style, color, budget and your unique tastes. In addition to what’s on the showroom floor, we have the ability to (and do almost every single day for clients) special order from many of our vendors.
Our hottest custom-fit clothing, the custom shirt line by STANTT, is amazing! Take a few minutes and come in and get measured for a dress or casual shirt. We have 100+ unique shirt sizes here in the store for you to try on and we can make any adjustments to get the fit just how you like it. This revolutionary fit, process and fabric/style selection is only here at Erik’s! These custom shirts are loved by all our customers—from those with the toughest fits to those who can easily buy off the rack (there aren’t many of you!) but want to create the perfect shirts, casual or dress, long sleeve or short sleeve.
We want to serve you in every way possible to build your wardrobe or get you that piece you’ve been looking for. Erik’s is a unique find between Toledo and Cleveland, with a gallery of great items from which to choose. In addition to our in-stock clothing, shoes and accessories, we also offer:
- Style, plain and simple. Make the decision to elevate your look and care about what you wear. Erik is here to help you with that, every step of the way. We are low pressure, high style and lots of fun.
- A full-service tailor shop for the clothing we sell. (We do not take outside alterations work.)
- Custom-measured shirts—these are the best in the industry, hands down.
- Wardrobe consultations—we can help you find the best pieces to build a wardrobe for you and your style.
- Special orders from many of the lines we carry, with a large range of size & fit options.
- Appointments are available outside of our business hours. We are small and special and have the flexibility to be here when you can come in and shop—click here to make an appointment.

We are not able to tailor, alter, fit or measure for outside items not purchased at our store.

ABOUT
Your Haberdasher
Erik Anderson is your expert Haberdasher at Erik’s Fine Clothing & Art and the self-appointed Coastal Lake Erie Minister of Culture (kidding!). He loves to give guided tours of his store, which may include your chance to hear The Beatles or The Decemberists on vinyl through his Boston Acoustics speakers. After more than three decades in the clothing business, he has a knack for matching guys with the best pieces to fit their own unique style—be it biker, vintner, farmer, construction worker, lawyer, or astronomer (yes, these are really all clients!). Erik provides an extremely low pressure experience to shopping; please come in, relax, have a cup of hot coffee or a cold beer and take your time. Stay and pick his brain about all things fashion and style—he loves that. He has seen it all and probably worn it all, yet he remains on-trend and evolves his own style each passing year. He loves wearing everything from denim to flannel suits and wants everyone to feel comfortable shopping with him.
Erik is a first-generation American of Latvian descent and a lifelong resident of Ohio. Erik earned a BFA degree from BGSU, has received commercial art training and has been an art educator. With a renewed interest in his art starting in 2011, he paints en plein air as often as he can when the weather cooperates and has completed commissioned art works for a variety of clients. His work has been featured in several area exhibits and group shows. A shopping trip into Erik’s means you also get to enjoy his art–or feel free to come in solely to see his paintings (that will make his day)!
